Recently, I looked in the mirror and realized I need to do better with my skincare since I’m getting older. I did some research, because as we all know, some of these products are not good for us. Therefore, I want to talk about a few of mine and hopefully I get to hear more about your favorite products. I have certain products I will only use. So here’s my list:
*By no means am i saying i’m qualified to determine what works best for you. Despite that, these are the products that work for me.
- Aloe Vera-
We all know aloe vera has so many benefits and is used for several reasons. With aloe vera containing enzymes, antioxidants, vitamin A & C, it is best overall. So, I basically use this succulent plant with no added ingredients. I use it for so many other things, but right now I am discussing my use of it for skin.
- CeraVe foaming facial cleanser-
My skin has moments when it decides to go from normal to oily. I must say, this is my favorite cleanser so far. The way my skin is left after using it, is miraculous. It is most useful for any person that has oily skin like myself, way more often than normal.
- Peter Thomas Roth eye patches (cucumber de-tox)-
Do you ever have those moments where you have to de-puff your eyes and wonder if there’s anything to make it just a little better? This product only needs to be placed under the eyes for at least 15 minutes. And as I begin to get older, I use products that can help prevent that.
- Truly (Vegan collagen anti-aging body cream & unicorn fruit)-
I honestly like that it doesn’t take much to moisturize your body. The polish it gives your body after just a dip of the finger.
Be that as I may, it is my favorite Truly product I have used so far. You really do not need much of it to get your body whipped. LOL! What I admire the most about this product is that it includes acai and chia seed. As some may know, acai is a fruit that is loaded with antioxidants and increases collagen production. It is known to have considerable amounts of wonderful benefits. Chia seeds are also included and let me tell you about all the goodness. Chia seeds are loaded with anti-inflammatory qualities. The health benefits from just these two are enough to love this product.
- Amande (L’Occitane)-
Not only is this lovely product great, it also smells amazing. Anyway, this product is combined with many rich oils and it improves the skin. I use this right after a steaming hot shower. Although, I say try it for yourself to see.
- La Roche Posay Effaclar-
So, just to let you know there is another product like this but is considered a duo. So, pay close attention to the bottle. Nonetheless, I just started using this product for my clogged pores due to oily skin. Due to the fact that my skin can go from normal to oily quickly, I try to find products to balance it. It is known to remove excess dirt and dead skin cells to leave the skin refreshed. I must say after a few uses, I like this product. But, I will keep you updated on it.
- The Ordinary ( AHA 30% & BHA 2% peeling solution, Organic cold-pressed rose hip seed oil, Vitamin C 23% + HA Sphere)
- AHA 30% & BHA 2% peeling solution-
I love ordinary products, however, I must say that this product helps with improving skin appearance. I say once placed on your face you will feel a burning sensation. It is manageable, so just hold out for those 10 minutes and you will be just fine. Get ready to have a red face. On top of that, it’s mentioned to not use any products with Vitamin C, retinol, or other acids after use. Just remember to only use this product once or twice a week, but it’s in the directions.
- Organic cold-pressed rose hip seed oil-
My lovely rose hip seed oil that I use at night just before bed. At the same time, let’s not forget to use an ice roller for your face. This product is used for skin hydration and used to keep the skin looking healthy. I love that it helps protect your skin.
- Vitamin C 23% + HA Spheres 2%-
You just have to love products with Vitamin C. Just to prepare you, this product comes in a small tube. Additionally, please only apply a small amount as directed. I normally use this in the morning before I get my day started.
- Pearl Essence serum ( Vitamin C/ Hyaluronic Acid)-
Lastly, this is a product I use at night before bed also. As you can see, another product that contains vitamin C and hyaluronic acid. Both are great products for your skin. It gives off an adequate amount of moisture for your face. So, it is best to use while sleeping at night.
Now, let’s hear about your favorite skincare products. I love to try new beneficial products and see if it will be a great product to add to my collection. So, let’s talk!
