Find something you’re passionate about. Something that you enjoy doing and won’t seem like extra work to you. I know many of us have a hard time believing that we are creative. Or we tend to listen to others more, thinking that we aren’t good enough. But, we’re creative in our own way.
We rarely take the time to look at things that we’ve completed ourselves, even something so simple. Have you had an idea but let it die out because you’re more concerned about opinions?
I know at one point, that was me. Afraid of opinions and not taking a chance. So, I decided to start doing things I’m passionate about. Even if it starts out rough or ill-favored, just try again and again and again. You’re passionate about it right? Well, doing it over and over again wont seem like torture.
Besides learning how to build robots with my daughter or anything of the sort, there are other things. For example, I went to a pottery class for my birthday last year and it was the best decision I made. So, now I’m learning more about pottery. I must say for my first time, I did a fine job. Another would be creating printable sheets or creating planners, books, workbook, etc.
Here’s some of my fun creations.
Children’s workbook with learning letter, words, ASL, and having the chance to also color.
I wanted to create a cute 2 year planner for those that enjoy writing things down.
I believe in you. If you haven’t found your passion, let’s get started. You never know where you’ll end up in a year!
